OUR GLOBAL AMBASSADOR

Bilva Chandra

Bilva Chandra currently works in Policy Operations at OpenAI’s Trust and Safety team, where she works on scaling policies and safety operations across OpenAI’s product suite, and is currently leading initiatives on DALL-E safety. Prior to this role, she was working as a Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst at LinkedIn, spearheading disinformation investigations and election integrity initiatives, as well as working on dangerous organizations and misinformation policies. She received her Master’s degree from the Georgetown Security Studies Program (SSP), where she concentrated on Technology & Security. She graduated with her bachelor’s degree from Georgetown’s School of Foreign Service with a degree in International Politics and a certificate in Diplomatic Studies. Her written works are published in The Strategy Bridge and Modern Warfare Institute. She is passionate about building ethical AI systems for humanity, information integrity, and preventing bad actors (state and non-state) from exploiting emerging technologies and the Internet. She has lived in DC for 6 years, at the very epicenter of these policy challenges, and is thrilled to take on the role of Global Ambassador for Digital Peace Now to raise awareness about the dangers of state-sponsored cyberattacks and translate these cyber issues for a wider audience.
